This beautiful Palo Santo incense plate with the sun is made of dark clay. Mixed with grog this clay gives a gritty rustic texture when fired. Inside of the incense stick holder is covered with blue malachite glaze. This peace holds one stick of your favorite incense. If you have really long incense sticks, I recommend trimming down the wooden end of the stick to make them shorter, this will help stop ash falling outside the dish. It can be used as an incense burning plate.
